Optimized Performance
The silencing system of the Predator UNLEASHED! II is based upon the same principles featured in our original "Accelerator" and "Dominator" systems. Sound levels are minimized, yet no significant "back pressure" is introduced, resulting in improved airflow efficiency (vacuum) of the system.
Ultra Compact Design
While this system has been specifically designed for mini van applications, it's ultra- compact size means that in larger vans, the amount of space that it "doesn't take up" is absolutely amazing. A unique, "separation tank" replaces the conventional "recovery tank, resulting in an unusually small "footprint" as well as reduced system weight. The vacuum pump is placed behind the engine. This keeps the console narrow ("footprint" is only 20" W x 58"L, including the recovery tank and the heater), yet allows easy access to all components. The solution pump is positioned in the open, atop the vacuum pump and facing the left side of the system, allowing ease of access for maintenance.
Superior Vacuum Capability
The Predator UNLEASHED! comes with the MD Pneumatics' #4005 vacuum pump, giving you impressive vacuum performance that's ideally- suited for dual wand operation at up to 500 feet from the truck. Combined with the compact size of the separation tank and short, direct plumbing between tank and vacuum pump of only 12 inches, response of vacuum to the carpet is immediate and very impressive.
Continuous Waste Pump- Out
This system includes a continuous waste water pump- out feature that results in you having essentially an unlimited recovery capacity. The on- board, belt- driven pump is capable of pumping up to 70 gallons per minute, can pump up to 60 feet away at 30 GPM, and can pump up hill if necessary, allowing you to pump to legal locations such as clean- out plugs of homes, and lawn areas that are of legal distance from nearby streams and storm drains. It can pump small particles up to 3/8" in diameter in the water... and it can run dry with no damage whatsoever to the pump. This feature uses a "separation tank", instead of a recovery tank... It never fills up...!
Superior Heat
The Predator UNLEASHED! features a 250,000 B.T.U. propane- fueled water heater, which can produce a temperature increase of 190° F over the incoming water’s temperature (typical input temperature is about 65° F) at a flow rate of 2.0 G.P.M. (about 700 P.S.I. through an 06 jet). This ensures that there is about 2400 of dependable, single- wand heat, or 200 degrees of dual- wand heat, for those tough jobs!
Versatile
The Predator’s vacuum system can be utilized for flood damage restoration work by disengaging the solution pump. This is easily accomplished by turning the pump "OFF" with the flick of a toggle switch, as in our larger systems.
