| This pump is so durable that it can run dry and pump small solids with ease. It's belt- driven and features no clutch, so it's a continuous- duty configuration, As a result, there is no "recovery tank", in the true sense of the term, but rather a "separation tank", that separates the incoming cleaning water from system airflow and simultaneously pumps it back from the truck to wherever you direct it. Capable of pumping 50 GPM, this is a real work horse! |

This feature is an upgrade to the wands listed above. The increased diameter of the vacuum tube that results from this option maintains effective hose diameter all the way to the carpet, eliminating both the 1.5" diameter wand tube and the "whip hose" that is necessary to connect to the wand. The increased airflow that results noticeably results in better vacuum. Some people prefer the standard smaller wand diameter in order to have better manuverability, however. |
