Superior Vacuum
The Accelerator features MD Pneumatics' 3006 Competitor vacuum pump (367 CFM "free air flow" / 277 C.F.M. @ 15" Hg.), which is very close to a typical "#4" vacuum pump (approx 320 C.F.M.@ 15" Hg.). This design features superior airflow efficiency (vacuum) throughout the system, from input to exhaust port, resulting in unparallelled vacuum effeciency.

The 2.5" input port of the vacuum pump is connected via a 2.5" industrial suction hose to the recovery tank, using no 90 degree turns along the way and only a 14- inch distance between the recovery tank and pump, in order to keep the connection as short and straight as possible. This combination results in extreme airflow effeciency on the vacuum side of the system airway. Also featured is Stoddard's D33H discharge silencer, with a 2 1/2" minimum diameter through- put diameter. As a result, sound levels are minimized, without significant "back pressure" on the exhaust side of the vacuum system.

Superior Heat
The Accelerator features a 120,000 B.T.U., propane- fueled water heater, which can produce a temperature increase of 90° F over the incoming water's temperature (typical incoming temp is about 65° F) at a flow rate of 1.7 G.P.M. (100 GPH, or about 400 P.S.I. through an 06 jet). However, the Accelerator features a unique passive heat gain (nothing to break or malfunction) internal water tank that actually gains heat from the system itself, resulting in an additional 20 degrees of typical heat output. This means that it delivers more heat than other systems that use the identical heater.

For extra- tough applications, such as tile cleaning, the system can be upgraded to 250,000 BTU, resulting in an increase of 160° F over the incoming temperature at an increased flow rate of 2.1 GPM (approx. 600 PSI through an 06 jet). This ensures that there is enough heat for the toughest job.

Compact Design
The vacuum pump is placed behind the engine. This keeps the console narrow ("footprint" is only 20" W x 63"L, including the recovery tank), yet allows easy access to all components. The solution pump is positioned in the open, atop the vacuum pump and facing the left side of the system, allowing ease of access for maintenance.

The Accelerator's recovery tank is located on the system frame and comes standard at 70 gal. usable capacity. It has been designed to be upgraded easily to 95 gal. usable capacity with the addition of the "high filter" lid, which allows virtually 100% of the total tank capacity to be used for recovery capacity.

Quiet!!!
As mentioned above, the Accelerator features a Stoddard Industrial silencer specifically designed for this application. But in addition, system noise has further been reduced via fine- tuning of motor RPM's to fit comfortably withing the best parameters of the silencing system. The result is a system that is noticeably quieter than the vast majority of systems available today.

Versatile
The Accelerator's vacuum can be utilized for flood damage restoration work by turning "OFF" the pressure supply pump. (Easily accomplished with the flick of a toggle switch, due to the electric clutch on the solution pump: standard on all of our systems.) Due to the high heat and pressure (10,000 P.S.I.) capability of the optional upgraded heater, it can also be used for medium- duty hot or cold pressure washing and tile cleaning, especially if used with an upgraded capacity water pump.
